Guard tour management Print

GuardTek Post includes a full guard tour management module, compatible with most of the popular guard tour devices on the market. Using GuardTek Post to monitor guard tours, it is not necessary to use the software or application that may have come with your third party equipment (if you have any) originally.

Guard tour creation:
Tours are directly created with our online platform, using the wand. Different criteria can be defined to quickly highlight tours that are not compliant with operational requirements (minimum # of checkpoints read, maximum tour duration, etc.).

Tours can also be scheduled if necessary (opening/closing tours for example). In this case, GuardTek Post automatically alerts the Officer to start a tour on time. Supervision is notified by the system if the tour is not started.

For each individual guard tour, specific notifications can be defined, as well as if users are to receive all tour reports or only reports for incomplete tours. Notifications and tour reports are electronically delivered via email and/or text messaging.

Tour report sent by email.

Tour incident:
By using a tour incident wallet with 12 or more tags, incidents can be reported by the Officer during a tour (open door, water leak, open window…). Incidents are automatically integrated into the tour report at the point occurred. For each type of incident, specific notifications can be sent to designated recipients (for example to the maintenance department, to the safety department, etc.)

Real-time tour:
As an option, our real-time guard tour equipment, ActiveGuard, can be deployed within GuardTek Post. All tours are reported in real time and this solution includes a man-down and panic system. Read more about the real-time tour system
